MCP Server for the Documentation

Connect AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT) to the ssm.ro documentation via the Model Context Protocol: search and read pages.

The ssm.ro documentation is available through an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). AI assistants that support MCP, such as Claude and ChatGPT (web and desktop), can search the documentation directly and read full pages. They then answer from the current documentation instead of from memory.

Documentation access only

The MCP server gives access only to the content of this site (guides, API, security, compliance). It has no access to your account, organization or data in the platform and requires no token. For platform data, use the ssm.ro API with a Bearer token.

Server address

No authentication or token required.

Connecting

Claude (web and desktop)

Open claude.ai or the Claude Desktop app and go to Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector and fill in:
- Name: ssm.ro Docs
- Remote MCP server URL: https://ghid.ssm.ro/api/mcp
Click Add. The connector then shows up in both Claude on the web and the desktop app.
In a chat, open the + menu (or the tools icon) and check that ssm.ro Docs is enabled.

Team / Enterprise plans

On Team and Enterprise plans, an admin has to add the connector first (Admin settings → Connectors). Each user then enables it from Settings → Connectors.

ChatGPT (web and desktop)

Custom connectors are available on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu) and require Developer mode to be enabled.

Open chatgpt.com and go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, then turn on Developer mode. In some versions, the toggle lives under Settings → Security and login.
Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create and fill in:
- Name: ssm.ro Docs
- Description: ssm.ro platform documentation
- MCP Server URL: https://ghid.ssm.ro/api/mcp
- Authentication: No authentication
Tick the acknowledgement for unverified connectors and save.
In a new chat, click + → More and enable ssm.ro Docs.

Business / Enterprise workspaces

On Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, a workspace admin has to allow custom connectors before users can add them. Menu labels may change between ChatGPT versions.

Available tools

The primary content is in Romanian. For the best results, search in Romanian even if you talk to the assistant in another language, or pass lang: "en" to search the English translation.

Once connected, ask the assistant directly; it decides on its own when to use the tools:

Result freshness

The search index is refreshed weekly. get_page and list_pages always read the published version of the documentation.
